What do I need to have prepared for my appointment?

A form of state-approved identification. Acceptable forms of ID include Driver's License, U.S. Passport, State Issued ID or U.S. Military card.

If two forms of identification are requested/required, please see Form I-9 Acceptable Documents.

Please have the documents that need to notarized ready. If you are unable to print the documents in advance, I can do so. However, additional charges may apply.

Where will The Lady meet me?

As a mobile notary, I come to you! If you would rather meet elsewhere other than your home, the appointment can take place at any public setting of your choice.

How long does it take to get a document notarized?

The time it takes to notarize a document depends on the complexity of the notarization and the number of documents to be notarized. We work efficiently to ensure that all documents are notarized in a timely manner.

How do I pay?

The forms of payment that are accepted include: cashier's check and electronic payment platforms such as Zelle, Cashapp, Apple Pay, Paypal and/or Zenmo.

When should I contact a notary?

You should contact a public notary when you require their services to perform a notarial act. Notaries are authorized individuals who can administer oaths, witness signatures, and certify documents to make them legally valid and authentic.

What types of IDs are accepted by a notary?

IDs must be current or not have expired more than 5 years ago. They must be government-issued and contain a photograph, signature, serial number, and physical description of the signer. ID cards such as: state driver's license, state identification cards, military IDs and passports are acceptable.

What types of loans can a notary signing agent handle?

Seller/Buyer Purchases, Refinances, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), Reverse Mortgage, Commercial, and Construction.

Can a notary explain to the signer details of a document, help fill in the document or understand loan terms?

No. A notary who is not a licensed attorney is prohibited from offering any legal advice and only authorized to identify the signer of the document, ensure signer's willingness to sign, give oath, record notarial act and stamp document using their notarial stamp.

How can I know which notary is right for me?

Does your notary return your calls within 24-48 hours? Does your notary provide courtesy calls? Do you feel comfortable asking them a question? Do you feel heard? With the right notary, the answers should be always be "Yes!”
